Affiliate Disclosure
How we earn revenue and how that does — and doesn’t — affect our content.
Last Updated: April 27, 2025
Cabinet Insider participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means we may earn a commission when you purchase a product through a link on our site — at no additional cost to you. This is disclosed in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255).
1. What Is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link is a special tracked URL that identifies Cabinet Insider as the source of a referral. When you click an affiliate link and make a qualifying purchase, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale as a commission. We currently participate in the following affiliate programs:
3. How Affiliate Revenue Affects Our Content
Our editorial decisions are made independently of our affiliate relationships. Here’s exactly what that means in practice:
4. Where Affiliate Links Appear
Affiliate links may appear anywhere on Cabinet Insider — in product reviews, buying guides, comparison articles, and inline within editorial content. We do not add a unique label to every individual affiliate link, but you can assume that any link pointing to Amazon or another retailer may be an affiliate link.
Pages that contain affiliate links will include a notice at or near the top of the page. Our homepage and category pages may also include a general disclosure.
5. Questions
If you have any questions about our affiliate relationships or how our content is funded, please contact us at hello@cabinetinsider.com. We are happy to clarify anything.
